Topaz is looking for a Mid-Level Social Media and Public Relations Specialist to join our digital marketing team. It is an exciting opportunity that offers a chance to define and to implement a Social Media and PR strategy. You will use your skills to research US, British and Swiss wealthtech markets, then define and implement a social media strategy that is well coordinated with a PR plan for a white label fintech platform designed for the wealth management industry.

Topaz provides a digital end-to-end wealth and lifestyle management platform for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs). Topaz customers are typically Family Offices, Private Banks, External Asset Managers, and other private client service providers who need to provide a premium digital experience for their HNWI clients.

Role description
We are looking for a Mid-Level Social Media and Public Relations Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. The main deliverables for you will be industry and the competitive environment research; social media strategy and content calendar; a targeted PR media and contact list. After researching the industry, learning the competition, and setting the strategy you will work with your content and design colleagues to help you implement the social media and PR plan you develop.


Your responsibilities will center on improving the visibility, reputation and online presence of Topaz via the following activities, projects and deliverables:

  • Design and implement an effective B2B social media strategy to grow overall audience and engagement across relevant B2B social media and community platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences in USA, UK, Switzerland of the chosen platforms
  • Social media marketing campaign performance forecasting, optimization, and reporting
  • Inform the content plan for the digital marketing team to create unique and engaging content regarding product and product-related topics
  • Drive and lead conversations from social and community engagement on platforms
  • Build a PR media list and influencer list with contacts and relevant cooperation opportunities
  • Research, identify, and select appropriate industry conferences, webinars, and other events to demonstrate Topaz thought leadership in the wealthtech arena 
  • Drive event preparation and execution with the support of the marketing team
  • Collaborate with the in-house digital marketing team and inform content type, format, voice, and calendar


You have to be an experienced mid-level SMM and PR professional with growth potential demonstrated by:

  • 2+ years in SMM role
  • An understanding of SMM and community best practices on LinkedIn, Facebook, Xing
  • Successful projects portfolio in Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Passion for creating great content and research new opportunities
  • Good time-management skills for managing multiple SMM platforms at once
  • Experience in PR outreach and building targeted media and influencer lists from zero
  • Experience with event and webinar organization and promotion
  • Excellent written and spoken English (CEFT C1+)
  • Ability to track and measure campaign success metrics
  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Experience with paid advertisements on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Experience with software tools to edit and organize compelling social media content
