Designing the next generation developers community
Thomson Reuters sought to redesign their Developer Community platform (for external developers leveraging Thomson Reuters public APIs) to improve usability and enhance its overall appeal to both end-user developers and their content providers. The goals were to encourage and increase engagement, provide developers with the most pertinent information more efficiently, and facilitate the addition of new features and content.
Windmill Smart Solutions helped Thomson Reuters accomplish its goals by clarifying the key user workflows, use cases, and content types. We worked closely with the client to understand existing pain points and future plans to create a framework that would stand the test of time. We crafted and iterated multiple design concepts and prototypes to best meet our client’s needs. Once the client was happy with our concepts, we finalized them and built developer-friendly design guidelines.

The team here saw this as a great opportunity and were given a great design to implement. Your design has certainly accomplished what it needed to. The response has been off the charts supportive.
